Water feature keeps going green, need help?

The water in my concrete fountain keeps going green.  I have not had any luck with a variety of chemicals. After a while the water turns green again. I have tried numerous chemicals but to no avail, the water just turns back to green after a few days. I keep the water running continuously hoping that will help. I need a solution because cleaning it everyday is not an option.

    Empty the fountain and thouroghly clean it. Refill the fountain and add a couple tablespoons of chlorine bleach to the water. Some foaming may occur as a result.

    fungi or moss may be growing inside,the only thing i can suggest is to dry it thuroughly after each use

    It probably is moss or algae, You can get algaecide at your local pool dealer but tell them what it is for so you don’t add too much. You could look at your local garden shop or a place like Home Depot for something that controls moss.
    If it is slimy it is moss .
    If it is hard and rough it is algae.

    You first have remove all the water cleaning as you go leave to dry out fill with new water and run, I think you are stopping it on and off for many hours if you leave it run it will be ok and clear make sure you top it up as the water evaporates should be ok John uk ps it coud be sunlight i now see its run cont, is the water in the water receiver moving when fountain is in use this is a must as still water creates green water also new water takes till to mature and get rid of green water be patient
