What is the cost to care for African Helmeted Turtles?

How much time and money should I budget to care for two African Helmeted Turtles I rescued from the city shelter? Are there particular things I should know about their care?  What is the real time commitment daily? I need to figure out if they are females or males. I’ve named them any way; Lucy and Ricky.  I guess I have already grown to love them. Right now they are in a three hundred gallon aquarium and once they seem healthy enough I plan to build an .
