Any good swimming holes around Eugene Oregon?

Swimming holes in Eugene Oregon

I haven’t been able to find a good around Eugene Oregon in the three to four years I’ve been living here.  I am asking about ponds lakes or other bodies of water within about fifteen miles of North Eugene.  Golf course ponds would even be good.

Anyone got a suggestion?  My girlfriend and I were listening to R.E.M.’s Night Swimming when the question came up.

    Dude, the Willamette River flows through Eugene past north eugene. Do you live around river road? Any of those boat ramps are full of people swimming and otherwise during the summer. Also, the rockslides out by triangle lake are EPIC. Other good swimming spots–Harrisburg bridge (about 4 miles from junction city), Hayes Landing (river road) Browns landing (river road) The footbridge (bridge over the Willamette that links UO’s campus to Autzen stadium)–Cross Franklin Boulevard on Agate street (right across the street from the new basketball arena–east side of campus) and keep walking about 5 minutes or less, you’ll either have to wade the Willamette (possible during summer) or walk across the footbridge, which i highly suggest. Damn man Eugene’s FULL of swimming holes haha
