Pros and cons of a natural swimming pond?

I would like to have a natural swimming pond.  A natural setting is very appealing.  Not having harsh chemicals such as chlorine is a big plus for me. I am concerned about keeping safe levels of bacteria. What about when a kid or dog urinates in the pond?  It would be great to have my with us without any problems.

    You know they have these now but you add Salt,nothing else. Way better for your dog and yourself and your skin. Your Skin by the way is a organ and it will suck up the chlorine{does a number on Calcium in your bones} in your system..Not much I heard but why take the chance…go Salt.
