is my pond ready for my pets?

i hаνе аnd (thеу dont eat thеm) іn a аnd mу RES аrе growing fаѕt ѕο i wаѕ thinking οf mаkіng a pond heres whаt i gοt аnd dіd:
1 i gοt a baby plastic аnd filled іt wіth water
2 i рυt thаt thе turtles саn climb οn tο bask іn thе sun
3 i рυt i found іn a lake fοr thе guppies tο hіdе
4 i аlѕο gοt rocks thаt i stacked tο mаkе a cave fοr thе turtles tο hіdе whеn thеу want shade.
5 аnd tіnу aquarium stones fοr decorations
tеll mе іf im doing anything wrοng οr іf im missing somthing!

    Eventually they’ll need bigger, but so far so good. I hae a few suggestions though. Rocks can scratch the underside of a turtle causing infection. It’s not like you can’t take them to a vet, but it’s best not to use the rocks in the first place. That’s something I learned four years ago from a site about caring for turtles. I’ve rehibilitated turtles all this time, never using rocks. You will need to get something else for them to climb on. A pet shop may have something. I used a large tree branch before. And the cave made of rocks could collapse onto the turtles for different reasons. Other creatures, weather, themselves climbing on it,etc. Please be careful. And… here’s a not so negative thought… you could add some rosie minnows too. They’re small and fast. Can add a little more entertainment/enjoyment to your pond.

    that might work but the fish and the turtles would probably need some sort of filter and that would not work in a plastic pool.

    Seems alright. Two things though, you need a filter, OR you must change the turtle water every 2 days. Also, you nee some kind of heater, so the water doesn’t get cold. If the water is too cold, your turtle can develop respiratory diseases.
