Neighborhood cat killing our fish

Our fish are disappearing from our .  Last night I found the neighbors cat in our pond.  So I need ideas on how to keep it away from our pond and protect our fish.

    my neighour has a pond and he has motion-sensitive sprinklers and lights if anything goes near the pond … it was not just cats getting his fish … but the combination of light coming on and the sprinklers coming on sent most fish-eating creatures away … i have no idea how that works or is set up or where you would buy but i do know it worked for my neighbour …

    ive always used a crossbow, and ive never had a problem. also im 400 lbs

    you could get some cheap landscape netting and just stake it into the ground all around it so its a nice covering that you can see through and feed the fish through. Cats and other creatures wont be able to get there paws through it.

    you can buy a catnip but it costs so prefer to coffee powder it stops the cat put some coffee powder around your tank so it can’t smell the fish.

    use a pail of water and splash it on it the cat would hate to get wet so intentionally get it wet near the pond infact use the pond water .. and it will soon learn to stay away as the water comes from the pond ..

    go too your pet store were you got your fish or if on line check them out they have a spray you can use that will keep any animal away it completely safe and only animals can smell it

    You may want to put a fence around your pond with a top to it, though that would not look very good. Perhaps just do that when you are away, maybe a tarp would work, just lay it across the pond.
