fish pond air pump no air coming out still working but no air any ideas?

    rubber suction cup is teared or already too soft it still pumps air without airstone just the hose some to save money just remove the airstone but its nicer to be repaired unless you know how to change one.

    its called the diaphram,its the rubber suction cup that moves in and out that works with the motor which allows air to be pumped if it has a tear in it then it wont work hope this helps u out

    Chris W is right. The rubber diaphragm inside the pump has a tear on it and needs to be replaced. Go to your LFS and have it repaired there.

    There could be a few problems,

    As was mentioned the rubber suction cup on the diaphram could be cut or not seated properly.

    The motor could be working, but the prop has gotten clogged.

    Something bumped your adjustment.

    Also, check your tubes, one of them could have a cut or a hole not allowing the water to expell the entire length.
