Can turtles and frogs live in ponds with UV filters?

Can you help us learn about frogs and turtles in our ?  We are new to having a pond.  The pond has a UV filter and we are curious if there are certain types of frogs or turtles that can live in our pond.  The pond is two and half feet deep and about five feet wide.

    We have two ponds with filters which used to have many frogs, and they survived fine until we had a bullfrog come around and scare or eat all of the other frogs. So to answer your question, yes, frogs can survive. Not sure about turtles though.
