Big pond filter small pond
I haven’t had my pond very long and I am new to taking care of one. I am thinking about turning a dustbin next to my small pond into a bio filter. The pond is about three hundred gallons and has a very small filter. The bin is about three feet high and I am thinking it would have bio balls on the bottom covered in foam then more bio balls topped off with pond plants. My estimate is it would cost £35. Is there any problem having such a big filter for a small pond or is it a waste of time. Is bigger better?
