How do I move Koi fish to a new Koi pond?

Building a new

Our old Koi pond needs replacing so we are committed to build a new 3500 gallon Koi pond in its place.  How do we go about handling the seven Koi fish we have while we build the ?  The Koi are under six inches. I am thinking about using a hundred gallon tank that I have as a temporary home for them and fill it with water from the pond.  When the is ready can I put the Koi fish in right away or do I have to allow the water to cycle?  Will the Koi be OK in the hundred gallon tank for a few weeks while all this is taking place? Should I add the old pond water in the tank to the when it is completed?  I plan on putting the aquatic pond plants, lotus and water lilies, in to a different tank also filled with water from the pond.

    You will need the tank to have a decent filter rated for 200G and it will need to be cycled. Even the plant tank will need some filtration of the water will stink and the plants rot
    if it is filtered i’d leave them in the tank otherwise get them in the pond
