I want to build a and have a list of questions that I would greatly appreciate if people can answer.

1. How much does a male or female Koi in Australia?
2. What other fish or animals can Koi live with?
3. How big do Koi grow?
4. How much will it cost to build the pond in my backyard?
5. How do I build the pond?
6. What do Koi need around them to survive?
7. How big do you recommend the pond to be?
8. How many Koi should I start with?
9. Can I create an eco-system for my Koi? How can I build the pond so that they can survive by themselves without having to feed them. If I can, what do I need?

That’s all the questions I have for now. Thank you for advice and suggestions.

    Cost of pond: Probably over $5000.00 depending on the size.
    Koi can cost up to 10K for one fish if you are buying them as ‘show quality.’
    Koi can live with goldfish and turtles.
    Koi grow depending on how big the pond is and how much you feed them.
    The pond should be at least 3′ deep, more if you can.
    Start with 2 koi until you are sure the pond is healthy.
    No, you cannot create an ecosystem for koi. You are building an outdoor aquarium and therefore must feed your koi and have massive filtration for them.
