Will female betta fish let algae eater survive in tank?

I’d like to put an algae eater in my freshwater tank with a female betta fish.  Any ideas on what type or types of algae eaters will survive living with a female betta fish?

    Siamese algae eater/bristle nose or rubber lip pleco or common pleco but they grow to be VERY big.

    Any can survive with a betta, it is the size of the tank that is the limiting factor. In tanks below 10 gallons, use snails, 10-20 gallon, use oto cats, larger, and plecos are OK with the smaller species of pleco in smaller tanks and larger for larger tanks. Of course the smaller fish are fine in larger tanks as well, but larger fish are not OK in smaller tanks.

    that depends on the tank size,
    5 gallons heated tank, snails, and or shrimp,
    10 gallons, snails, shrimp OR a school of 4 – 5 kuhli loaches, or a stone catfish
    20 gallons, a school of pygmy Or dwarf cories Or Otto catfish and or stone catfish
    30 gallon, Bristle nose or other dwarf pleco, a school of 4-5 zebra loaches, kuhli loaches, OR yoyo loaches

    edit= loaches will eat algae like a lot of bottom feeders, but all so called "algae eaters" need other food sources, as most are omnivours, algae will never have enough protein to keep them healthy, they need a variety of food. sinking foods for omnivours are are a requirenment. Ottos are the only one I can think of that are herbivores
